Catalyst Social Enterprise, in collaboration with the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) and the Chiang Rai Provincial Livestock Office, recently organized a training program aimed at enhancing knowledge and technology for personnel involved in the egg production industry. The training focused on preparing participants for the transition from conventional battery-cage egg farming to cage-free systems, which adhere to international animal welfare standards.

Held in Chiang Rai, the event featured expert speakers from renowned institutions such as Kasetsart University and the Department of Livestock Development. The program emphasized modern farm management techniques, incorporating environmentally friendly practices and promoting animal health.

The training garnered strong interest and cooperation from participants across various sectors and related organizations. Through the exchange of experiences and insights between experts and attendees, the program aimed to support the advancement of cage-free egg farming in Thailand, fostering long-term sustainability and adherence to animal welfare standards.
