Catalyst Co., Ltd., a social enterprise, in collaboration with the Institute of Agricultural Technology and Innovation Management, National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), and the Surat Thani Provincial Livestock Office, recognizes the importance of opportunities and challenges in promoting knowledge and technology to personnel of the Department of Livestock Development, relevant government agencies involved in egg production, and farm staff. This initiative aims to prepare and transition layer farming from battery-cage to cage-free systems, adhering to international animal welfare standards in Surat Thani Province. This training is supported by experts from leading educational institutions such as Kasetsart University, the Department of Livestock Development, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, and Suranaree University of Technology. The focus is on enhancing knowledge and skills in managing layer farms using modern technology and cage-free systems, which are environmentally friendly and promote animal health.
